Our Clubhouse
The clubhouse is at 7155 Ne Vandenburg Ave., Adair Village, Oregon, directly across the street from the local branch of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Below is a map of the area.
We are about 18 miles south on highway 99W from highway 22. That's about 28 road miles from Salem. CSME is only 5 miles north of Corvallis on highway 99W, and only 16 road miles from downtown Albany. We are close to everyone! Look for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife signs.
The CSME clubhouse is located in an old military gas station. There are four rooms in the building. The front room contains the club library and a display case containing examples of each model railroad scale and other hobby-related items. The layout is in two rooms: a smaller room behind the front room that was the old gas station office and the main room to the left of the office that was the old two stall service garage. To the right of the office is the club work room. The front room and work room were added by the club members. All rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Long range projects are to install new siding on the outside wall and finish the lighting for the layout.
